Lesson Plan:
*How would you feel if you knew an enemy was hunting you?
*What would you do differently?  What would you want to have with you?
*Would you take off your armor or put down your sword for any reason?
-Well, you do have an enemy who is hunting you.  Satan wants to harm you and cause you to fail.  He wants our family to fall.  But Heavenly Father has promised us protection if we "put on the whole armor of God."

Read: Ephesians 6
As you read, have the girls color the pieces of armor listed in the scripture  The Armor of God (Print the boy version for Sam).
*How do we put on the whole armor of God?
-When we fight, say unkind things, and think only of ourselves, it's like we are taking off the armor of God.  We're making ourselves and each other vulnerable to the fiery darts that Satan.  This home is our fortress.  We have to defend it with everything we have.  We can't take off our own armor.  And if we see someone letting Satan in to our fortress, we need to respond with love and kindness.  That is the only way to keep our fortress safe.
*What are some ways you can help keep our enemy from getting into our home?
*How can you remind yourself of the need to be loving when you feel angry?
